Steinhatchee Reef Map
Located 9 nautical miles at bearing 270 degrees from last channel marker at Steinhatchee River, the Steinhatchee Reef was last enhanced in 1998 with 112 reef cubes similar to the ones deployed on the Suwannee Regional Reef System. Cubes are 3'X3'X3' reef modules designed to serve as critical habit for reef fish and designed by Bill Lindberg, the project leader of the of the Steinhatchee Fisheries Management Area where hundreds of reef patches will be deployed in 2011.
